EXPERIENCE

Vice President Technology – Operations
CSI Digital Inc. (December 2008 – Present)

• Serves as the Company’s Vice President of Technical Operations (VPTO) with overall responsibility for the technical operations, engineering and research and design of current and future deployments of IPTV Gateway, local off-air head ends, and VoIP throughout the U.S. and its territories. Includes evaluation/implementation of new products, system documentation and oversight of the integration and sales team to accommodate the Company’s national and international sales effort.

• Extensive and thorough knowledge with trend setting technologies for delivering “over the top” (OTT) content, digital rights management (DRM), IPTV ECO and middleware systems, Early Warning Alert (EAS) and video on demand (VOD) systems and IP to QAM systems.

• Worked directly with hardware vendors to engineer and manufacture hardware to transcode various content sources delivered to multi-viewing platforms such as set top boxes, PC’s, hand held devices and mobile telephones.

Chief Technical Officer / Director of Operations

• Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, and controlling all of the Company’s engineering functions, including systems and programming, computer operations, and related vendor relationships. Establishes, implements, and administers IT divisional policies and procedures as well as those systems required for existing and future product offerings. Acts as senior manager over all hardware, software, and equipment purchases and maintenance. Responsible for future technological innovations and the development and implementation of the Company’s IT strategic plan. Responsible for disaster recovery planning and mitigation strategies. Continually monitors technical and processing priorities and methods. Trains, directs, and supervises department managers.
• Responsible for the all daily operations and ensuring the proper operational status, maintenance and repairs of those systems utilized to deliver MST/NuVision services. Evaluates plans and creates procedures for starting and completion times, and staffing requirements for day to day operations of Installation and Repair technicians.
Director of Technology & Research and Design

WARWICK VALLEY TELEPHONE COMPANY Warwick, New York

• As Director of Technology, (June 2000- July2006) responsible for all aspects of corporate technology systems used to deliver end user products for parent and subsidiary companies. Create and administer Technology policies and procedures, and coordinate related Sarbanes-Oxley remediation efforts. Manage and direct the operations of multiple departments including: Video, Central Office, Internet, Technical Assistance Center and Network Operations. My duties included the supervision, planning, scheduling, and prioritizing of work performed. Implement solutions for strategic objectives related to the companies product offerings and industry driven mandates in the communications industry. Develop and administer capital and expense budgets. Recommend and procure any hardware or systems needed to achieve the goals of the Company.

• As Director of Research and Design (June 2000 – Present) Analyze industry trends and directions while making recommendations to the executive level for product direction. Expert in the design, development and delivery of cost-effective, high-performance technology and communications solutions to meet challenging business demands. Extensive experience in all facets of projects from initial feasibility analysis and conceptual design through implementation, training and enhancements. Excellent organizational, budget management, leadership, team building, negotiation and project management skills. Developed and engineered complete infrastructures to deliver broadband services such as aDSL, Triple Play services (voice, video and data) over vDSL and FTTH. Reengineered the Company’s existing TDM network to a converged network with seamless integration between packet and TDM networks.

• In July of 2005 named Corporate Security Officer where my responsibilities are to manage and direct those efforts related to Sarbanes-Oxley and security. Created and administer the corporate security policies for the protection of company data, personal computer use and access to all corporate resources. Designed and reengineered processes to ensure efficiencies and eliminate any control gaps. Worked directly with both internal and external auditors to satisfy the appropriate remediation efforts.

• At the corporate level, I served on multiple company wide special projects and process reengineering initiatives. Influential as a key member of the Company’s Strategic Planning Committee. Influential as a key participate with negotiations between the Company and the IBEW. Served as the Company Representative to attend board meetings for Independent Optical Networks (ION). Lead position on the Technical Committee for ION to design a statewide Dense Wave Division Multiplex (DWDM) Network.
